They can consist of one or a blend of the modalities described below, and will vary in session numbers depending on what you are looking for support with.

Gentle Hands-On Therapy Techniques

We will look at ways to create more ease in your body, but also at understanding what the body is trying to tell you, using techniques including McTimoney, Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), trigger point releasing and stretching to help the body back into balance. These are exceedingly gentle but cause the nervous system, and so your body as a whole, to re-organise. 

These techniques are very relaxing and non-invasive. They do not include any clicking or cracking, but gentle touch and ‘taps’ in very specific locations. They can help to release stress, reduce accumulated patterns of tension, current physical and emotional responses, improve breathing and create a more effectively functioning body. This can help improve your immune system, help prevent future injuries as well as help heal current ones. It can also assist your body manage any underlying existing chronic or acute health conditions.

Discover Your Genetic Blueprint with Human Design

Human Design is a way of self-exploration, combining knowledge of astrology, I-Ching, Kabbalah and Vedic philosophy to create a chart that’s your genetic blueprint. Your potential. Something specific just to you.

Your chart can help to find some answers or a new perspective on how to embrace your individual needs, wants and desires. It can help you understand and manage challenges you may be experiencing. it can help you recognise and embrace your true gifts and potential, find more clarity with your life’s purpose, identify areas of resistance, and provide clarity on new ways of approaching them.  It can also be a great diagnostic tool for understanding why certain symptoms and challenges persist for you.

Healing Mentoring for Personal Growth

The journey towards healing involves learning to sit with uncomfortable feelings and stories rather than shutting them out. It means accessing and healing the parts of us that shut down during difficult times. By addressing and healing these parts, we can free up energy and release patterns that have been locked in our bodies for years.

I have over three decades of first-hand experience in various forms of meditation, breathwork, and counselling techniques. Alongside my professional training, I assist with general health and fitness through exercise, diet modifications/suggestions, stress management, and well-being advice.

Intensive Healing Retreats in South Yorkshire

I offer regular Clear Day Retreats where I use an array of skills with small groups to create a more intensive experience.

Retreats not only help you feel rejuvenated but can help you go deeper with introspective work like journaling, meditation, and intuitive movement, alongside several Network entrainments to help clear old patterns and create the space and clarity to bring in the new. Some previous Network experience is helpful for these deep dives, but not essential.

  • Alana will have asked you to complete a link to an online initial assessment questionnaire at least 24 hours prior to the first session.  This will likely take in the region of around 15 minutes to complete and is quite comprehensive, and all information is completely confidential.  

    Alana will use this to gain a good understanding of some of your history, what you are experiencing, and what you are looking for some help with. The initial consult allows us to review this information,  clarify anything further needed, perform any necessary examination, and discuss the options of how we are going to move forward working together to achieve your desired outcomes.

    Usually, the first session will also involve starting on the agreed treatment protocol, and the course of follow-up sessions discussed and potentially booked.

  • The initial assessment is £85 for the first hour. 

    Follow-up hands-on sessions 25 mins £48.

    1-hour sessions mentoring/ hands-on £116.

    Human Design readings:

    75 mins £250 (includes 72 hours after session access via WhatsApp for any additional questions/clarification) Available online or in person. 

    45 mins Human Design specific area focus £150 online or in person.

    Retreat Clear Days £170 (10.30 am-4 pm) 

    Retreat Clear Evening £120 (6-9 pm)

  • Just yourself! Ideally in comfortable clothing (thin, light leggings/tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt are ideal, but I can treat through most clothes). The cabin is usually toasty warm! 

    Feel free to bring a journal to jot down any insights during or after your session. 

    Some water is always a good idea (or something hydrating).

    There are no toilet facilities in my cabin. There is a toilet in the house, but it is accessible by a steep flight of stone steps and is only available for emergencies, or during retreats. 

    On the retreat day feel free to bring a blanket, and your yoga mat if you prefer.

  • I have capacity to do both!

    Obviously the hands on needs to be in person, but any additional mentoring and human design work can be arranged online from the comfort of your own home where appropriate. 

  • Yes, you can!

    Human Design readings can be booked on a one-off basis, however, I would always suggest we break it down into more manageable chunks as it can be a lot to digest in a sitting depending on what you are looking for some help with.

    If you decide to work with me on a deeper or more hands-on level, then these will involve a course of sessions, so we can help your body adjust at its own pace. This can be arranged according to your desired outcome, availability etc,  but I would recommend we start with at least 1-2 sessions per week for the first few weeks while we learn how your body responds.

  • If you want to get to the bottom of what’s going on, and not just a quick fix, then I’m your girl!

    You might have tried other things but not got the results you are after. You may not be a fan of or have already tried other more clinical or mainstream approaches. If you feel called to learn how to tap more into your body’s wisdom, then this could be the way forward.  A gentle, relaxing, intuitive approach to deeper understanding and taking responsibility for your own bodi’s health and well-being.
